M-NCPPC (MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITOL PARK & PLANNING COMMISSION)

Participation by children with disabilities is encouraged and supported in all programs and services. A variety of classes such as Tumbling Tots and Kindermusik and in the pre-school category Kiddie Gym, tumbling, Wiggles and Giggles, and Social Sandbox for children ages 18 months and up are offered. Tot cooking, craft, dance, tumbling, and other sports classes are available for children 3 years and older. Half-day preschool classes are also available. Classes vary by area. Creative movement (dance) and Tumbling Tots are available for children 3 to 5. Kinder Karate, Peewee Basketball, and Kinder Soccer are some of the classes available for children aged 4 and 5. A nonprofit Continuing Education program that is conducted in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education at Prince George's Community College and the College of Physical Education, Recreation, and Health at the University of Maryland, College Park. Service to children birth through 21 who are experiencing motor and language delays.
