It was nice to see the children after the long holiday break. They were eager to get back into the school routine. Hopefully, everyone had a wonderful holiday.

Federal Forms

Please return your completed and signed Federal Impact Aid Surveys (the blue form) as soon as possible. They are due by January 11. We appreciate your attention to this.

Annual Reviews

Annual Review time is approaching and teachers are beginning preparations. You will be receiving many documents over the next several weeks that need your attention. Also, teachers are required to send three notices home to advise you of the meeting date and time. Please let your teacher know right away if you are unable to attend on the scheduled date. We will make every attempt to reschedule.

Upcoming Events

On Wednesday, January 16, the Department of Special Education/Partners for Success Parent Center is presenting a FREE workshop entitled Dance of the Partnership. Janice Fialka, MSW is the presenter and she will speak about ways to strengthen parent-professional partnerships as well as provide expert advice on establishing working relationships with key educational players. Please see the enclosed flyer for more information. I urge all of you to attend this wonderful workshop.

Thank you for completing the Winter Packets over the break. I hope you enjoyed completing the activities with your child. If you have not already done so, please send them in as soon as possible. You may keep the book.
