• 2018-2019 Assistant Principal Voluntary Transfer Process

    In accordance with the ASASP Negotiated Agreement pertaining to voluntary transfers, the Division of Human Resources is providing an application process for all eligible ASASP Unit II Assistant Principals to apply for a transfer for the 2018-2019 school year. The Voluntary Transfer function will be a part of iRecruitment in ORACLE that allows ASASP Unit II Assistant Principals to request a transfer to another school or location in the school system that has or may have an authorized vacancy. 

    ASASP Unit II Assistant Principals may access the online application with their email logon and password from a PGCPS computer at a school or office from 12:01 a.m. on January 29, 2018, through 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2018. Instructions for completing the online transfer application are attached. Again, the deadline for submitting a voluntary transfer application is 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2018.

    Eligibility

    • To be eligible for a voluntary transfer, you must meet the following requirements:
    • Hold a valid Administrative I Certificate;
    • Must be a tenured Assistant Principal;
    • Have a current satisfactory or effective performance evaluation;
    • Complete the online transfer application by the deadline of June 30, 2018.
