About the Department

The Department of Capital Programs is dedicated to delivering safe, appropriately sized, and modern educational facilities that enhance transformative learning experiences for all students and communities within Prince George's County Public Schools. The department oversees the planning and execution of all renovation and construction projects across the district. Its responsibilities are organized into four key areas:

The Department of Capital Programs also works closely with various PGCPS departments to ensure that all projects meet district standards and align with community expectations.
