Semaine De La Francophonie
The week of March 18-22, 2024, our school will celebrate the week of French Language and Francophonie.
Students throughout the school will be engaged in creating art projects around the them of peace and cultural diversity in Francophone countries/La Paix et la diversité culturelle dans les pays Francophones.
- Monday, March 18, 2024
- French Culture Art Day (students can present, analyze, and/or create art representing a particular country or region of choice).
- Tuesday, March 19, 2024
- French Culture Music Day (students can present, analyze, and/or create music representing a particular country or region of choice).
- Wednesday, March 20, 2024
- French Culture Show & Tell Day (teachers and students can bring pre-approved and appropriate items representing a particular country or region).
- Thursday, March 21, 2024
- French Culture Writing/Literature Day (teachers can present appropriate literature to students for analysis. Students can also write on a particular subject representing a particular country or region of choice).
- Friday, March 22, 2024
- Traditional Clothing Dress/Fashion Show Day (teachers and students are to dress in school appropriate and culturally relevant to the culture of the country or region of choice).
* Music from different francophone countries will be played every day during that week.
