 Principal's End of Year Message

Hard to believe another school year has ended. The 2017-18 school year brought with it many accomplishments.
Being the recipients of the Crayola Arts in the Classroom grant, our students had so many wonderful opportunities.
From a private tour of the Smithsonian for grade 3, to a day on the nature preserve for grade 1, to new art supplies
for all students, and of course professional development for our teachers, it's fair to say everyone benefited.
Academically our students continue to make great strides, out performing both state and county standards. Everyone
has worked hard and now it's time for fun and relaxation. Please encourage reading throughout the summer to minimize
the infamous "summer slide."
Have a safe and fun summer!

 Carla Furlow,
 Proud Principal
