I greet you in the spirit of excellence

Dear Walker Mill Middle School Students and Families –

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Erin V. Cribbs, as the new Principal at Walker Mill Middle School (WMMS). My passion for educating and supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the past 10 years as a school secretary, Business Education teacher, Instructional Specialist and assistant principal, here in Prince George's County. My various roles have allowed me the opportunity to increase student achievement and enhance school development, by providing the best instructional opportunities and supports possible. It is my top priority to ensure all students leave with the foundations to flourish and be prosperous in the future.

A well-rounded education means outstanding instruction from top-notch teachers, as well as

extracurricular opportunities and supports that enable students to develop character, cultivate

passions, and explore the world outside of the classroom. As the Principal at WMMS I am committed to ensuring that student needs and interests help shape instruction and extracurricular opportunities. Through this shared commitment to learning, I am excited to see students engaged in classroom discussions, participating in intellectual challenges, or celebrating their creative talents through the Arts or any other area that peaks student interest and passion.

Most importantly, an excellent education is not possible without the great collaboration of students, parents, and staff. I look forward to the privilege of getting to know the amazing students, parents, and staff at WMMS, while also learning about the rich school history and the outstanding triumphs the school has experienced in an effort to continue this tradition.

I look forward to a great year ahead of us! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to discuss.

    Kind regards,

    Mrs. Erin V. Cribbs
