• Thursday, March, 22, 2018 - Code Blue - Due to unsafe conditions on roads and walking routes, schools are closed. Offices will open with two hour delay. All 12-month personnel are expected to report. A Liberal Leave policy will be in effect for non-emergency personnel.

       Who We
    We are "Excellent Without Excuses!"  As only 1 of 5 Middle School Talented And Gifted (TAG) centers of Prince George's County Public Schools, Walker Mill MS responds to the needs of students who excel in specific academic areas, exhibit high performance capability in intellectual creativity and leadership skills, and or shows the potential for performing at remarkably high levels of accomplishment when compared with other students of similar age, experience, or environment.  TAG students come from all social-economic, demographic and ethnic groups.

    Our TAG program offers full-day instruction under the guidance and supervision of passionate, highly trained teachers. The rigorous curriculum is accelerated and enriched with practical experiences to meet the unique and specialized needs of high achievers.  Program features include distinguished foreign languages including Mandarin, flexible instructional pacing, and technology designed to enhance the educational experience for all students.
