Principal's Message - Greetings Lake Arbor Families and Community Members:

Lake Arbor Elementary is a state of the art elementary school located in Mitchellville, Maryland. We prioritize providing for our students quality instruction in instructional settings that are conducive to student learning. We continue to produce efficient learners and have met AYP, Adequate Yearly Progress, as measured by the Maryland School Assessment, for our fourth year.

We recognize parents and community members as our greatest resource and welcome you to our building. Please remember to stop by the main office to secure a visitor’s pass upon your arrival. The instructional day begins for our students daily at 8:00 SHARP. Our doors open for students at 7:45 am in order that they prepare for the instructional day. Breakfast is provided daily for any student arriving by 7:30 am.

Please update emergency information as is changes so that our records are always current. Maintaining a safe and orderly environment is of utmost importance to us. Early departures should take place by 1:30 pm so that our safe dismissal will not be compromised.
