Text Box: Dismissal- As part of the effort to keep our children safe, we are asking parents to wait outside the school rather than taking children from the classrooms. Bus riders are dismissed at 1:55, Walkers at 2:00, and Van/Car Riders at 2:05. In this way we can carefully watch how our children are leaving the school to ensure their safety. Classroom Visitation— We encourage parents to visit the school as much as possible to show our Home-School ConText Box: nection. We must follow some important guidelines: 1. Please sign-in and get a specific teacher pass, 2. Quietly enter the classroom to avoid interrupting instruction. Teachers may not be engaged in conversation at this time as we have stringent time constraints for each subject area, 3. At the end of your visit, please return you pass and sign-out. Lunch Time Information—Please return your Free and Reduced Lunch forms. The current status will end on SepText Box: tember 30th and a new form must be approved prior to that date. Also, please remind your child to learn his/her PIN number and to pay for lunch when they arrive in the morning. Uniforms— Please remember that Allenwood is a Mandatory Uniform School. Please review the uniform policy to ensure your child is wearing the appropriate uniform. We are accepting solid BLUE or White sweaters or open front Hoodies and solid Black or white shoes. Beginning on October 5th these coupons can be brought to school and given to the classroom teacher. The classroom collecting the most coupons will win a movie and popcorn party. Did you notice that each coupon is worth 10 cents??? Chuck E. Cheese Nights — We have reserved September Text Box: 15th and October 20th as Allenwood Night at the CAP BLVD Chuck E. Cheese. The school will receive 10% of all orders between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. on these days. Please plan to bring your family and neighbors for a great evening ! Storybook Ball—Start planning to dress as your favorite book character and come to the Ball on October 28th! Text Box: Membership Drive— Please send your envelopes with $7.00 to support the Allenwood PTA. The class with the highest percentage of members will receive an After School Skating Party!
