1 child-size backpack (without wheels) large enough to carry a folder, towel and lunch box 1 plastic school box large enough to carry pencils, crayons, scissors, and glue sticks 2 JUMBO glue sticks** 1 pair of Fiskars brand scissors, or similar, with metal blades (not plastic) 1 folder with horizontal twin pockets** 1 ten-count pack of pencils** 1 box of crayons with eight basic colors** 1 regular bath-size towel for rest time (no quilts or beach towels) 2 boxes of facial tissue** 1 roll of paper towels** 1 bottle of liquid soap** 1 container of wet wipes** *A one-time fee of $5.00 is collected to cover the costs of special activities. It can be paid in cash or check (made payable to Beltsville Elementary School with the child's name written on the check). *All items listed above, as well as coats, hats, and sweaters should be labeled with your child's name written with a black permanent marker. Any item marked with asterisks(**) should be replaced each quarter or as necessary. |
