The mission of the Prince George's County Public Schools is
to assure that all students
acquire knowledge and develop the skills and work habits to enable
them to become productive members of society. This mission is best accomplished
in an environment characterized by strong instructional leadership, high expectations for success for
all students, sufficient time for
teaching and learning, a safe and orderly school environment, frequent
monitoring of students' progress, and effective
home-school communications.
