Bus Drivers Needed! The School System has openings for Bus Drivers.  These positions start at $13.57 /hr with full benefits.  There is a weekly guarantee of at least 25 hours of work but most  drivers effectively have full time work. For people not interested in full time work, the school system is also hiring substitute bus drivers.  The starting pay is $10.03 /hr.  Per Maryland law, bus driver applicants must be at least 21 years old, have 5 years driving experience and have a good driving record. We offer paid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) training with a one year commitment to service.  Applicants must obtain a CDL learners permit, have a full non-certified copy of their driving record and be interviewed by a supervisor before being enrolled into our training classes.
