Each school year it is necessary for the students to participate in fundraising activities.  The profits from these fundraisers provide additional supplies, books, and equipment for the ultimate purpose of making the students' educational experience better.  On occasion, the students do their share of raising funds, acquiring food and/or clothes for a worthy cause.  Below are some of the activities we are presently involved in:

SchoolCash.com
You can shop online and earn money for our school.  Go to schoolcash.com.  After you've registered, you can shop at any company listed in the store directory, including the Gap, Lands' End, L.L. Bean, and Amazon.com.  CHES will receive a percentage of what you purchase through the site.  Some sites (listed under "No Purchase Necessary") give a small amount to CHES when you visit or register with them.  Check it out!

Through Schoolcash.com, we have an opportunity to an easy way to earn money for our school without any direct cost to you.  Sales made beginning at this Website during the school year will benefit our school.  Shop till you drop!

Giant Food
Capitol Heights gets credit when you use you Giant Bonus Card after selecting us as the benefactor.  Please continue to help us while you shop.  We really appreciate it and keep up the good work.

Safeway Stores
We urge each of you to acquire a free Safeway Club Card.  Not only will you realize additional savings at checkout, but when you register CHES as your school of choice, you will help us acquire educational equipment.  Our school ID# is 0935.  Happy shopping and thank you again for your support!

Box Tops for Education...
Tis an easy school fundraising program because you can support our school through easy everyday activities - like buying groceries, shopping online and making purchases with a credit card.  Here are the three ways you can earn cash for our school with Box Tops.
bulletCLIP Box Tops coupons from hundreds of General Mills products found throughout the grocery store.  Box Tops coupons are worth 10¢ each when our school redeems them to General Mills.
bulletSHOP online through the Box Tops for Education Marketplace™.  The Box Tops Marketplace is your gateway to over 100 quality online stores, and up to 10% of each purchase is donated to our school.
bulletCHARGE with the Box Tops for Education Visa® card.  There is no annual fee and a low APR.  Use your card for purchases at more than 20 million locations worldwide, and a full 1% goes back to our school.

Every little bit helps make our school better.  For more information about how you can help make a difference through the Box Tops for Education Program, log on to www.boxtops4education.com.  While there, you can sign up for Box Tops E-News.  This site has educational activities for your children and other interesting information.  If 50 or more parents sign up for Box Tops E-News, we will receive a Box Tops collection bin.    Thanks for your support!

Recycle your inkjet and laser cartridges...
Did you know that in our area alone, 34 million inkjet cartridges are thrown away each year?  CHES is participating in a recycling project for inkjet or laser printer cartridges and fax cartridges.  Our school receives $1.00 for each cartridge collected.  Please send in your used cartridges or call Ms. Nietch at  (301)817-0494 if your company or business would be willing to partner with us.
