Sponsor: Miss Nietch Career day is an exciting time at CHES. Parents and volunteers from the government and private sectors come in and share their career paths with our students. Some of the careers are standard and some are unique. By sharing these experiences with our students, it gives them a clearer perspective of what the "real world" job market is like and perhaps gives direction to those who may not know what they would like to do for a living. In the past we have had representation from the following career areas:
A few years ago, we were fortunate to have Olympic Gold Medal Champion, Dominique Dawes, share her experiences with us. She was kind enough to leave this message with our children: "You can be anything you want to be in life. Work hard and believe."
"Capitol Heights loves you and appreciated your effort"!
Our Career Day for the 2006-2007 school year will be Wednesday, May 16th - 9:30-12:30pm
