School Wide Calendar of Events
Report cards are issued four times a year. The following system is used to report grades shown on the report card. If there are any questions about grades, students and/or parents should contact the specific teacher or appropriate guidance counselor as soon as possible. The following factors may be considered in determining grades: Tests and Quizzes, class assignments, and preparation, homework, participation, daily work habits, and attendance. Students will receive a copy of their teachers' grading policies that will identify the percent each category represents in determining the final grade. Students are encouraged to share this information with their parents.
Interim Progress Reports
Interim Progress Reports are sent home at the mid-point of each quarter. This is done to keep parents informed of their child's progress and to give the child the opportunity to correct a situation before the close of the quarter. A student whose academic work falls below the level of passing following mid-quarter could receive a failing grade even if the Interim Progress Report was not issued.
