COMER SDP FACILITATOR'S TRAINING - LEVELS I, II, III

These trainings are offered to teach school-based staff, central office staff and/or parents how to facilitate the implementation of the Comer Process, as well as how to generally facilitate and lead teams toward positive collaborative problem-solving in the best interests of students.

Sessions are designed for participants who currently serve in leadership positions in school, office, and community-based teams, and who seek to enhance their skills in facilitative leadership.
The ultimate goal of Facilitator Training is to help schools, offices, and organizations develop effective collaborative and inclusive mechanisms for making data-driven decisions that the entire community can support.
Three full-day sessions involve skill development, practice, and application of Comer SDP concepts, including "systems" approaches to organizational development as well as a focus on skills required to build collegial and collaborative teams.

Participants will also receive training manuals and tools to help plan, coordinate, lead, implement, and assess effective meetings.
