The Mission of the PTSA is threefold:

  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

FDHS Mandatory Uniform Policy

All Frederick Douglass High School students will be in uniform beginning Fall, 2007. The Uniform Committee met to select the colors and styles. There will be a vendors meeting on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. All are welcome to attend. Once a vendor is selected the Uniform Policy will be published on the FDHS website.

If you have any questions, please contact Serwa Agyeman serwa.agyeman@pgcps.org  or Bruce McKoy bdmckoy@aol.com.
