Students will learn ways to enhance creativity in learning by engaging in project-based cooperative learning teams to incorporate the three stages of television production( pre production, production and post production) involving interdisciplinary skills (ie., writing, math, reading, art) that are needed to integrate multimedia components, in order to successfully complete assigned projects.

Students will be introduced to the following topics: 3 stages of production (how to plan, execute, and correct productions), communication, script writing, storyboards, television and culture.

The Television Production course is a full-year course held for one class period per day.  Students must be in grades 11 or 12. Students need to have TV 1 before enrolling in TV2.
