DuVal High School has a
mission to provide

society. Students need
technology to enhance
their abilities to exist
in a diverse and
technologically complex
world. It is our intent
to provide students with
the access to technology
so they will be
proficient in today’s
information age.
Technology Education at
DuVal High School
provides program and
course content that is
student centered and
designed to develop
insights and
understandings of the
application of
technological concepts,
processes, and systems.
All activities use
hands-on experiences to
motivate students to
make connections between
concepts and real-world
applications. Students
are challenged to use
technologies to design, apply
materials, machines,
instrumentation,
processes, and technical
concepts in an efficient
and safe manner.
