Awards

Athletics: Congratulations to the Jaguars Wrestling Team. Zane Mcbride was placed 2nd at Counties, 2nd at Regional’s and 5th at States, will be place on the All-County wrestling team by the Gazette.

Academics:Congratulations to Thais Francis and Fatmata Koroma.They are the winners of the 2008 "I Empower" Scholarship. Both young ladies are seniors at Charles H. Flowers High School in Prince Georges County. Thais will attend New York University, majoring in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing this fall. Fatmata will attend the University of Pittsburgh in the fall, majoring in Business management with an emphasis in Studio Art.
