An open house for in-coming STP students will be held on Wednesday April 26th (Comprehensive Students) and Thursday May 11th (Science and Technology Students). Both sessions are from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Sessions begin with a group orientation at 9:30 followed by classroom tours. STP students enrolling into algebra I for the first time need not take the MPA. Those who have successfully completed Algebra I and/or Geometry will need to take the MPA. The MPA will be administered at C.H Flowers on two dates. Select the most convenient date.

Algebra I Assessment
Thurs. May 18th: 7pm - 8 pm
Sat. May 20th: 9am - 10 am

Geometry Assessment
Thurs. May 18th: 8pm - 8:45 pm
Sat. May 20th: 10 am – 10:45 am


Below are practice copies of the Algebra and Geometry Assessment. Each number on the practice assessment corresponds to the math skill number on the placement skills list. The Official assessment is a form of this practice copy with the numbers changed. Be sure to understand the concepts and be able to demonstrate that understanding in the time allotted for the placement assessment.
