Prom: A Royal Event - ALL students attending the Charles H. Flowers 2010 Prom must adhere to. Parent and Student signatures are required. Students must submitted this form back to Mrs. I. Washington room 906 by Thursday April 29, 2010. Click Here

Class of 2010 Graduation

ATTENTION:

The Class of 2010 Graduation

When: June 2, 2010 - 9:00 AM -

Where: Comcast Center on the campus of the University of Maryland!

Graduation Attire:

Females: White Dress or White Top / Skirt (Clothing should not hang longer than the gown). NO SLACKS! White dress shoes. White/Off White stockings - no knee highs, flesh colored stockings - Necklaces should not be visible. Small / Medium size earrings (should not be more than 1 /2 below the ear)

Males: White Collard Dress Shirt, Black tie, Black pants, Black dress shoes

Class Dues Packages: Platinum $450. Gold $300. Silver $200. Please refer to the Senior Scope Flyer for more information!

Additional Information

Turn in copies of college acceptance and scholarship letters to your guidance counselor and senior sponsor to display your accomplishment in the showcase.

Guidance
All students take note that there is a 10 day turn-around period for guidance counselor recommendations. Check your application carefully for deadlines and make sure you hand in all documents in a timely manner.

Also pay attention to guidance window because posted are upcoming college visits and college events.

Parents if your child has failed the HSA Exam/class or did not complete their community service hours your child will not:

-Be recognized as a senior (12th Grader)

-Be able to participate in the senior prom, picnic, or any other events for the class of 2010.

-Graduate

Students who passed the HSA but, failed English/Algerbra 1 must sit for one or both test to meet the qualifying score.

Parents, your child passing all of thier classes is one thing but, failure to pass the HSA Exam and not completing the community service hours will hinder your child from moving forward in June of 2010.

If a student does not pass a test, he / she can still fulfill the HSA requirement for the Maryland diploma by earning at least the minimum score on each test and the combined score of 1602.
