Poetry Club Home of the Poetic Prodigies ...The CHF Poetry Club is committed to nurturing the development of young writers in the school. Through the combined effort of fellow club members, club sponsors, alumni and affiliate organizations, the CHF Poetry club will provide enrichment services to young writers of any genre, allowing them to better themselves as writers as well as performers. The CHF Poetry Club will encourage reading and writing in order to improve the quality of writing and understanding of literature. Summer Assignment... The first poetry club meeting for the 2009-2010 school year will be Tuesday September 22,2009 at 4:30 in room 408. Please ensure that all summer assignment poems are ready for recitation and review. Free Creative Writing Workshop There will be a free creative writing intensive workshop held at the RHEMA Christian Center.The workshop will be two weeks long and will be two days per week. The dates are August 3rd and 6th for the first week, and August 11th and 13th for the second week.The workshop operates on a first come first serve basis.No registration is required.
