Dear Family:

Let me take this time to welcome you and your children to Greenbelt Middle School.

My name is Monica Fair and I am this years PTLO President.  The Greenbelt Middle School PTLO invites you to join us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for all children.

We realize how important your children are to you and that you want the best for them. The PTLO can help you achieve that! We all know children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students and the community work together. PTLO can bring these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children. Our PTLO provides information and resources through workshops, videos, brochures and other communication channels.

In order to help our children and their families, our PTLO sponsors programs such as:

Drug Awareness

Reading Programs

Cyber Safety

Grant opportunities through the City of Greenbelt

Fundraisers for our graduating classes

The PTLO’s goals for the coming year are:

Improving testing scores

Increasing parental involvement

When you become a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals. Our dues are $8.00 per member. You can join us, filling out an application remember to include your membership dues, and return it today. We meet every other Tuesday at 7pm.

Every PTLO is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Additional support in the form of a donation

is always appreciated, welcomed and is tax deductible.

If you would like further information, feel free to contact the PTLO.

Sincerely,

Monica Fair – 240-305-4664
