Welcome
Parents and Guardians to Another Exciting School Year!
Please feel free to stop by your Parent Resource Center in room E-102 to review what
resources are available.
If you’d like to
donate time or resources (funds, packaged snacks and drinks, supplies, etc.)
in an informal way, please let us know. Please
encourage your churches and other family members to support our school as
well. All help is most welcomed and appreciated.
If you’d like to become involved with our school in a more formal
way, you are welcomed to join our SPMT (School Planning Management Team),
an SPMT committee, or the PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student, Association).
PTSA Membership is $10 per year, a portion covers PTA state and national
dues, and the remainder goes toward supporting PTSA budget priorities,
i.e., student incentives, parent training, and teacher appreciation. PTSA
meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Media
Center. Membership forms are available. Please make checks
payable to: G. James Gholson PTSA.
We look forward to working with you as we continue to raise the bar for our
children’s success.
