Televised daily from the TV studio in the Library Media Center, WGNS News informs our students of the events of the day, keeps them up-to-date on school announcements, gives them a "word-of-the-day", helps them learn the Pledge to the Flag, and perhaps most important of all --- tells them what's for lunch!!

Staffed by students in grades 4, 5 and 6, we broadcast daily at approximately 9:20 AM and always LIVE!

Interested students should speak to their teachers about an opportunity to participate.  New students are chosen on a rotating basis throughout the school year, with several different production companies formed in order to give the most students an opportunity to participate!

Participating in the WGNS News program provides students with an opportunity to practice public speaking skills, learn to operate different television equipment and also to practice writing skills.
