TIME TABLE WHAT I SHOULD BE WORKING ON/WHAT IS DUE Oct. 12 Parent Letter and Packet #1 distributed to students Oct. 17 Parent's Science Night Oct. 18 Science Journals distributed to students Oct. 25 Experiment Night Oct. 30 Question due to classroom teacher or Ms. Brown (pg. 2 of the journal) Oct. 30 - Nov. 8 Begin researching your topic and question. Complete information needed for the research paper. (pg. 24-28 of the journal). Begin writing research paper. Nov. 9 Hypothesis due to classroom teacher or Ms. Brown. (pg. 4 of the journal) Nov. 9 Your hypothesis must be based on your research. Nov. 9 Variables due to classroom teacher or Ms. Brown. (pg. 6 of the journal) Nov. 9 Materials due to classroom teacher or Ms. Brown. (pg. 7 of the journal) Nov. 9 Procedures due to the classroom teacher or Ms. Brown. (pg. 8-9 of the journal) Nov. 9 Data collection tool due for approval. You may use p. 11-14 of the journal or your own data collection tool, however, each must be approved. Nov. 9 - Dec. 8 Complete the investigation with the required number of trials for your grade level.
