EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION
BETWEEN HOME AND SCHOOL

Throughout the school year, there will be a need for an exchange of information between home and school.  It is expedient that both institutions give prompt attention to all requests.  The first request for information will come home on August 22, and will require “next day response.”

  • Family card

  • Emergency plan

  • Performance release

  • Free-reduced meal application

A monthly bulletin will be sent home to each family from the office.  Important information will be printed in this bulletin as well as in the Newsletters that will be issued quarterly by some grade levels.

    SCHOOL HOURS

The school hours are 7:45 AM-1:55 PM (we request that students report to classrooms at 7:30 AM).  Students cannot arrive at school before 7:15 AM unless they are in the Before and After Care Program.  Punctuality is extremely important to school success.  Students arriving after 7:45 AM are tardy and must report to the office for a late pass.  There was an excessive number of tardy students during 2003-2004.  To avoid severe consequences, please adhere to getting students to school on time.

Students transported in cars MUST be picked up at dismissal time.

    FIRST DAY PROCEDURES - AUGUST 22, 2005

On the first day of school, students will refer to the class lists posted, to locate their new class and report immediately to homeroom.

Students completing registration on August 22 will remain in the multipurpose room until the class assignment is made.

You can assist us in our efforts to help your child arrive at school without bus problems!  First, have your child at the bus stop at least 10 minutes earlier than the time listed on the bus schedule.  Second, list the following information on the enclosed card and send it with your child on Monday, August 22, 2005.
