The
faculty, staff and I welcome you to Kettering Elementary School family.
We are using the handbook as a means of communicating between
home and school. There are
many policies, regulations and services discussed within these pages. Please read and keep this handbook readily available
throughout the year. It is
my hope that you will share the contents of this handbook with your
child. Please put it in a handy place ready for reference as the
occasion arises.
It may be necessary from time to time to update some of the information
that is included
in this booklet. New
information will be sent home in the form of memos. A booklet based on the local school could not possibly
reflect all the information that one would require of a school system.
For this reason, I recommend that this booklet be used in
addition to the yearly Superintendent’s Parent Brochure.
Close cooperation between the home and school is essential to promote
the best interest of the child. Parents/guardians are encouraged to visit the school and to
attend scheduled meetings. Mutual benefits accrue when there is a
meaningful exchange of information between home and school. |
