Program Philosophy

The science program will incorporate the latest research in science and focus on in-depth study of topics listed on the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum. Learning will be hands-on and inquiry-based; therefore, students will be involved in a variety of activities that cover the content using scientific skills and processes.  Students who participate in the science program in Prince George’s County Public Schools will be scientifically literate and understand the influence of science and technology in society.
