The Lamont staff and I look forward to working with you and have many exciting programs and special activities planned for you this school year.    The Lamont staff will continue to stress Reading, Writing, and Math skills in an effort to bring all students up to appropriate grade level achievement.   The staff believes that all students can learn and will continue to hold high expectations of its students in order to develop a strong sense of self-worth, empathy, respect and responsibility.    We realize that it is part of our duty to provide encouragement and inspiration to all students for the purpose of insuring that all students work to their best abilities.    We will continue to emphasize positive language and behavior since we realize that this is what contributes to academic achievement and higher levels of student performance.   The Lamont staff also believes that it is important that all families and teachers are part of a larger family that supports all of its student learners.  The staff at Lamont encourages active parent  involvement, visitations, and conferences and look forward in delivering world class instruction.   We are very proud of our academic programs and the social and emotional growth of each of our students.   The Lamont staff feels we are truly lucky to be assigned to such a fine school.    Good luck and much success this school year!
