Testing Department
Test Administration Information
-
The next administration of the High
School Assessments will begin on
May 19, 2008.
-
Evening students will be notified
if they are eligible to sit for any
of the assessments. They will
be referred to their boundary day
school on the appropriate testing
day.
*IT IS IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS SHOW
UP AT THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME
OR THEY MAY MISS THE OPPORTUNITY.
-
Please note that on October 31, 2007
the State Board of Education voted
to eliminate the minimum scale
score. This now means that
students are required to pass all
four tests or achieve a total
combined score of 1602.
-
Also,
in the works is the Bridge Plan to
Academic Validation. This
program is designed for students who
have failed to pass one of the
assessments at least twice.
Students will be required to undergo
a portfolio review to determine the
outcome of the corresponding
assessment requirement.
Further information on this will be
available at a later date.
