About LHS
What is
Accreditation for Growth? (AFG)
AFG is an accreditation process that uses strategic
planning as a vehicle for school improvement and growth in student performance.
AFG requires the school to base its
objectives on a vision of a preferred future.
AFG provides for a continuous
review of programs and services and allows all members of the school’s
constituency to participate in the future of the school.
We, at Laurel
High School, encourage parents, students and faculty to provide input for our
school improvement plan.
Please send any comments to Ms. Carrie Curry, the Instructional Coordinator.
