Why Should I Take this Test?

It mimics the SAT except for the essay. [Math, Critical Reading, Writing are on both.]

Collegeboard provides an item analysis of the test--type of question (easy, medium, hard), answer, correct  of each type.

Suggests strategies based on weaknesses.

Provides us with AP Potential--the prediction of a particular student to succeed in an AP course, based on the reading, math, and writing scores.

Considered for National Merit Scholarship   [11th graders only]
