Students who complement their academic studies with extra-curricular activities gain experience that contributes to success in later life.  Laurel High School provides opportunities for physical, social, and academic growth as well as self-discipline by offering a variety of extra-curricular activities.  Activity Buses Available LHS Policy Concerning Community Service Hours and Extra-Curricular Activities

Seniors Complete all required hours by January 2008 Must have all required community service hours documented to apply for and receive parking sticker Must have a minimum of 10 community service hours to purchase tickets for Homecoming events Must have documented all required service hours by the end of the first semester (12/20/07-extended to January 15, 2008)) in order to continue with and/or participate in all extra-curricular activities; such as cheerleading, athletics, dance, fashion/talent shows, etc

Juniors Must have a minimum of 15 documented community service hours to run for Homecoming court Must have a minimum of 15 documented community service hours to apply for and receive parking sticker Must have a minimum of 15 documented service hours by the end of the first semester (2/20/07-extended to January 15, 2008) in order to continue with and/or participate in all extra-curricular activities; such as cheerleading, athletics, dance, fashion/talent shows
