Deputy General Counsel
This office deals with drafting
and reviewing of policies and procedures; interpretation of
legislation; lobbying efforts; responding to calls from schools
and regional offices (custody, subpoenas, student records,
etc.); responding to requests for information in accordance with
the Maryland Public Information Act; drafting and review of
contracts; student appeal matters-expulsion hearings.
