Snow Plow Mural Competition
You have to see the pictures...


The snow plows have been returned, results are in and we want to thank all of the schools that participated in the Maintenance Department's Snow Plow Mural Competition.  It was difficult to select the top three murals.

This snow season the Maintenance Department will proudly display the painted snow plows attached to our trucks.

  • Results from Annual Principal Feedback Survey
     

    The Maintenance Department conducted an Annual Principal Feedback Survey consisting of 20 questions with regards to professionalism, response time, and overall principal satisfaction.  The survey was utilized as a tool to enhance the efficiency of the Maintenance Department. 

    • 98% responded they were greeted in a professional manner when a telephone call was answered in the Maintenance Department.

    • 98% responded their telephone call was answered in a timely fashion.

    • 84% responded positively when asked how they would rate the response time of our crews to their emergency calls.

    • 91% responded positively when asked if they were satisfied with the repairs made by our crews.

    • 79% (overall) responded they were satisfied or very satisfied with the Maintenance Department  

    Online Work Order System
     

    The Prince George’s County Public Schools Maintenance Department is initiating an Online Work Order Application System that will allow schools and administrative sites to enter and review maintenance requests over the internet.  The new system will allow participants to not only enter new requests electronically, but also allow them to review all the repair activities at their site.  
     

    Only computers that are on the School System’s Wide Area Network will be able to access this system for entry and review.   As a security measure to ensure that only appropriate individuals identified by the administrative sites and schools make these requests.
