There
are so many exciting things going on in the Library Media Center this
year. The PTA donated money to purchase 85 books for $1250. The
Marlton’s School Improvement Team found money in its budget to
purchase $3,000 worth of books which will arrive this summer. The
Office of Library Media for the County Schools had funding to purchase
667 books for $9300! This is so exciting and that’s not all! Different
organizations in the area have come through again for us. The American
Legion Auxiliary My Maryland Unit 126 has donated $25 to fund
“American Girl” and part of another magazine. The Women of the Moose
Marlboro Chapter # 1350 donated $50 to continue subscriptions to
“Cobblestone,” “Sports Illustrated for Kids,” and “Your Big Backyard.”
The Masons of Centennial Lodge Marlboro Lodge # 174 have increased
their gift to fund 4 magazines this year: “Faces,” “National
Geographic for Kids,” “Ranger Rick,” and “Boys’ Life.”

The Loyal Order
of the Moose, Marlboro Lodge # 1856, has come through again with a
$100 donation which will purchase “Owl,” “Kids Discover,” “Ranger
Rick” and “Zoobooks.” There will be enough money to order magazine
covers to keep magazines in brand new condition. They also offered 60
$2 candy bars to sell in the office to gain $120 towards the purchase
of a digital camera. We are very grateful to these organizations for
what they have done for our children.
