• The students will learn about the characteristics of reindeer.
  • They will see pictures of reindeer in their natural environment.
  • They will visit Santa's North Pole web site and read the Weather Report.
  • They will go to the weather channel and make a comparison of our weather and the weather in North Pole, Alaska. 

  • They will listen to the story "The Wild Christmas Reindeer" by Jan Brett.
  • They will dictate a story about the lesson and then illustrate it.
  • They can make a comparison of the real reindeer and the fictional characters. (This can be done with an older group)
