Taking Notes
Think of questions that can’t be answered with a yes or a no.
Look for answers to your questions about your topic in the references (using the table of contents, the index, and illustrations).
Pick out key words from the reading.
Reread the sentence or paragraph and think about what it means.
Write down the most important information in your own words.
