Mission
Statement: The mission of the
Thurgood Marshall Middle School Honors Program is to maximize
the development of the academically gifted learner by providing
an atmosphere that is intellectually challenging. The program
is designed to cultivate independent, life-long learning by
encouraging exploration, inquiry, in-depth study, and active

Statement of Philosophy:
Thurgood Marshall Middle School is committed to promoting an
academic program that is rigorous and academically challenging
for the advanced learner. The program aims to promote the
highest level of excellence among the students. The program was
created to meet the needs of the whole exceptionally advanced
child; academically stimulating, socially aware, mentally
capable and physically ready to withstand the joys and
challenges that life have to offer |
