The mission of the Office of Business
Applications is to provide premier information technology support
and service to the Prince
George’s County Public Schools. Our goal is to create a cross-functional,
team-centric work environment between the functional area users of
the AIS-ERP system and the Business Applications group. The following
roadmap will help us achieve our goal:
Provide timely, accurate information and tools to empower staff
Provide the user community with training to meet evolving business
and technical requirements
Provide multi-dimensional reporting tools to meet administrative
and instructional needs
Continue to Implement business best practices to streamline
business activities
Foster a collaborative, communicative, team-based environment
which encourages cross-functional dialogue and proactive problem
resolution
