Parents, if your child has difficulty with course work and promotion to the next grade level, two new school-based initiatives can aide the improvement effort. The first initiative is the Credit Recovery Program. This is an opportunity to work closey with the teacher to "recover" credit for the 3rd marking period in order to earn a passing grade for the course. Secondly, the Northwestern High School Academic Intervention Plan. For further details please consult with your teachers and administrators on specific matters.
