Senior Checklist
As a senior I have completed the following ...
- Submitted my Cap & Gown Form
- Sat for my Senior Pictures
- Earned a 2.0 or better during the 2nd semeter
- Sat for all High School Assesments Tests
- Earned enough community service hours for graduation
- Completed applications and documents for oppotunities after high-school
- Cleared up all fines/fees
Senior Fees
By the close of business on February 29, 2008 all seniors should have paid their fees in full. A $20.00 late fee will be imposed upon anyone who still has an outstanding balance.
All fines and outstanding balances must be met before seniors can receive their cap and gowns and the other items included in the Senior Packages. Fees can be paid to Mr. Curry in C211 during all lunches.
Career Center
Visit the career center regularly to obtain post-secondary information and sign-up for interest meetings as colleges and universities visit Northwestern High School.
Submit your FAFSA to the processor as soon as possible after January 1st. DO NOT SUBMIT BEFORE JANUARY 1ST. You can complete the form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Keep a copy of the form
Parents of seniors planning to attend college should file tax forms as early as possible. School may need them to finalize your financial aid packages. Be prepared to send a copy of the tax forms to the school, if necessary

Senior Prom
The Senior Prom is scheduled for May 23, 2008. This year's prom will include an elegant affair at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel followed by a moonlight cruise aboard the Odyssey Washington (both in Southwest Washington, DC). More information about the prom will be released soon.
