PANORAMA NEWS MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL Dear Parent/Guardians: It’s hard to believe that the year has gone by so fast. As we reach the end of our school year we must continue to remind our students of their purpose of coming to school, which is to learn and become successful students. Many of our students have forgotten their purpose for coming to school. This has resulted in many inappropriate behaviors happening within the classroom. I am asking that over the spring break holiday that you speak with your child about the following issues:
As a part of the Prince George’s County Public Schools Quality Schools Program Strategic Plan 2005-2010 Goal 4 states: All students will be educated in learning environments that are safe, drug free, and conducive to learning. Please know that as the instructional leader here at Panorama Elementary administrative procedures will be followed and these types of behaviors are not acceptable and are warranted as zero tolerance within our building. As students return from spring break, please make sure that you stress to your child the importance of displaying positive behaviors and following all school rules. These are a necessary part of being a successful student here at Panorama. We want all of our students to benefit from a positive experience in learning here at Panorama. Please know that your help as the parent is truly needed. It is the goal and vision of Panorama that students, staff, parents, and administration work together to build a strong community of learners. We can only do this if parents begin to play a supportive and active role here at Panorama and grab hold to the vision of student success! Ms. Roache
