What Documents are needed to register your  student(s)  in School?

Birth Certificate (with parent(s) Name(s)                   2 pieces of business mail
shot records                                                                       Proof of Residency
Shared Housing Disclosure                                             Latest report card
Proof of Residency: (one of the following)
    Original mortgage statement
    Original county property tax bill
    Deed
    Settlement statement

Who May Register A Child For School?
A custodial parent or court appointed legal guardian must register the child. If the person attempting to register a child is doing so because it is not possible for the parent to do so (e.g., the parents are incarcerated, deceased, hospitalized, unable to be located, etc) call Pupil Accounting and School Boundaries: (301) 952-6302. Notarized statements, power of attorney, and temporary court orders are NOT acceptable

What If Child Is Enrolling For the Registering a child for the first time?
If this is the first time the child will be enrolling in school, the following documents are required: birth certificate with name of parent registering the child, proof of residency, and record of immunizations. A birth registration card/form is acceptable only if it shows the parent's name, the child's name, birth date, and place of birth.
