Educators at Perrywood Elementary believe that our students must have access to technology and be able to use it effectively in order to meet the challenges that they will face in the 21st century. Making computers available to all students and having a local area network and access to resources on the World Wide Web has been a priority. Perrywood’s classrooms and resource rooms have at least five computers and Internet access so that teachers and students may communicate electronically and share in the advantages available through the use of technology. In addition to the technology resources in classrooms, computer lab, the Media Center houses computer workstations for students' and teachers' use for research and training.

Other technology available to Perrywood students and staff are:

Internet-based  library catalog and checkout system

  Video and digital cameras

   LCD Projectors and video visualizers
Interactive Smartboards for small and whole group instruction
Scanners, network printing capabilities and color printers

Wireless network

Computer lab for training and instruction
Closed-circuit television system and a fully functional television
studio where a morning news show is produced daily
