School Year Extended

New Policies

          To make up for class time lost on February 22 when schools were closed due to inclement weather, the last day for students is now Monday, June 9 (the last day for teachers is Tuesday, June 10.)  If schools are closed again due to unexpected inclement weather or other emergencies, additional make-up days may be required.

          The Prince George’s County Board of Education adopted three new policies during its work session on April 10. These policies were designed to govern high functioning public meetings, ensure responsiveness to constituent concerns, and improve the quality of services provided to the community it serves.
