We learned about paleontology and excavating for fossils.

Class reporters help to tell about the fun and educational project that was done.

1. Chris Today I was a paleonologist. I took a spoon and started to dig for a fossil.

2. Patrick We dug in the sand for fossils. I found three. I cleaned my fossils with a brush.

3. John We brushed the sand off the fossil. We observed the fossil.

4. Kaila We looked at the fossils with a magnifying glass. We examined our fossils.

5. Alex We counted the fossils. We separated them.

6. Reginald We put them on the tray. We study about them. We described them.

7. Ebony We sorted the fossils and classified them as plants and animals.
